Day 1: The Art of Playing in the Everyday

Today we begin a new 30-day series on the practice of ‘The Art of Playing in the Everyday‘. I will be broadcasting on Periscope, sharing in the ‘Soulfulness of Play‘ group on Facebook, and writing and sharing videos here on the Play=Peace blog.

You are cordially invited to join the ‘Soulfulness of Play‘ group + Sign-up to receive Play=Peace blog posts and weekly ‘Play Notes’ in your in-box so you will not miss an episode as we move along in the series.

A Soulful, Poetic Practice

We live in a ‘quick fix’ culture. Tending each moment as it presents itself is not a quick fix. Instead it is a life-long spiritual practice that calls us to bring playful intention into every part of life moment-to-moment.

We will be exploring in depth the practice of ‘The Art of Playing in the Everyday‘ in our relationships, in our work life, in our dreams, and as we create.

We will also be playing with how to express the soulfulness and poetics of play through the lens of depth psychology, poetry, art forms, nature, and story.

I would love you to join me during the month of November. You can ask questions or leave comments here or on the ‘Soulfulness of Play‘ group as a member. I am looking forward to your presence and contributions to the series and future book on ‘The Art of Playing in the Everyday’, my life-saver!
